Siri, Malin and Cathrine from SWY21 met up for a mini reunion in Tromsø October 9th-10th.
We got a guided tour by Siri at The University of Tromsø, the northernmost university of the world, and ÁRDNA – The University Sámi Cultural House.
Tromsø is called “Paris of the North” so a major part of the stay had to be spent in cafes and bars to get a fully understanding of the city culture.

Japanese film director at Films From the South Festival in October

SWYAA Norway has received information from the Japanese Embassy that the renowned Japanese film director Koreeda Hirokazu will be one of the main attractions at this year’s Films From The South (Film fra Sør) Festival, FFS, in Oslo 8 – 18 October. In addition to his latest films Still Walking (2008) and Air Doll (2009), there will be a “Koreeda Retrospective” programme showing his earlier works. Mr. Koreeda will be present at the festival.
